“Uh, I haven’t thought about that enough to give an answer,” Lieberman said, as though Democrats’ strong prospects for recapturing the House hadn’t been the fall’s top political story.

Joe Lieberman is the full of hypocricy. He is a liar. He is a manipulator. The problem is that he is running ahead of Ned Lamont at the moment and Democrats have to make sure to come out strongly supporting Ned Lamont otherwise they have no chance of taking over the House of Representive or Senate in this election but also to loose in 2008 general elections.
I agree that Dems and Indys have to come out in full force over the next 4 weeks, but I don’t agree that there won’t be a chance of taking back the House without Lamont. Extending that to the 2008 election is heavy, as well. Lamont is quality, but he’s certainly not a lynchpin to that degree.
Warner’s out for ’08, Bayh is a certain no. Edwards and Gore are my front-runners. (Sorry, Hil, I’m not feelin ya in a head-to-head with McCain just yet, but there’s time…)
